A Peek Of My Life

8:45 AM, I woke up with a sudden sense of sweat yet drowsiness in wanting to feel like sleeping more; yes, I can be a lazy idiot at times, especially sleeping at the wrong time, which unfortunately happened with waking up at 9:35 AM while having a sense of realisation in having an essential interview at first which I'll love to discuss how my bus journey is truly miserable or how there were so many unscary constructions everywhere I go. This blog's theme will be creative imagination; it may sound uncanny, yet it resonates with me today. Today felt short yet endless, with many possibilities for the ideas or stories I wanted to present someday. Especially to you, my dear readers.

So, continuing my monologing, waking up at 9:35 AM again to start a day by taking a burning yet glamorous cold shower as I am getting used to the icy cold that breathes on my head, which, from what I heard, strengthens the hair follicles and improve blood circulation for my scalp. Learning and being fascinated by something new is a unique daily thing that keeps me investing in self-improvement. Despite my laziness of not waking up early, I still feel fresh in completing this routine of mine. Speaking of routine, I want to continue setting and cleaning my bed so that when I come back from a trip, event, or even work, if I get a possible chance to aim one, it gives me a sense of tranquillity and early rest in being the best for the tomorrow.

Imagining The Endless

While getting ready and setting off to the gym, my imagination came to my mind. Yet, I felt off and disoriented imagining how things could've been different, whether it was joining a rugby team, getting a higher grade, losing friendships, making mistakes, or feeling at times left out; questioning what could've been different, whether I could genuinely fulfil my potential, whether I could become unbreakable, or learning to be the best role model that not just inspires thousands but billions around the world.

It still lingers in my mind, primarily working on a boxing bag along with small workouts of core, biceps and chest in getting ready for my presumed interview as I usually thought about the possibility of failure and the endless cycle of soul-searching for another apprenticeship I want to truly invest and start a new journey that can lead me to prosperity.

When I arrived at my interview, despite the unnecessary construction or the longest walk in human history, I still came and found out it was just an assessment. Despite feeling a sense of ease, I still daydream of the idea of failure or the point in taking this assessment despite possibly suffering the inevitable, the inevitable that keeps stopping me from my goals or direction into a career I want to do. Those thoughts still reminisce after completing my assessment and waiting for the results in days, weeks, or possibly months; the possibilities of how it can end are endless.

Turn Your Imagination Into Power

So what is the point of telling this part of my life? I want to show you how imagination can be powerful yet an endless whimper of sorrow that can possibly define you if you allow yourself to live in it. Before delving deeper into how you can overcome this feeling and mindset, is your imagination truly full of regrets? Is it the constant feeling of not getting what you desire? Your sense of wanting to give up even if you tried? How do you cope with your imagination and feelings?

If you imagine those doubts or concerns, do not forget you are not alone; it is primarily how I used to feel after receiving the worst results I could imagine. You still have hope in finding something that embraces who you indeed are, whether it is an opportunity, success, love or even a career you like; to achieve that, turn all those negative thoughts into motivation and create something personal to you yet show your lens to others around you to gain insight of your perspective. What I mean by this is creating a project reminiscing your skills, struggles, and strengths. For example, I am writing a blog about many niches, such as technology, mental health, and my daily life, which gives me a voice and creates opportunities and interests for people who want to join my journey.

So start either by utilising or learning a skill that can take your hand into the unknown you never explored before and put all that passion into a project you want to do or try, such as

1. Personal Podcast: Sharing your expertise or experiences through a podcast can showcase your communication skills and provide valuable insights into your interests and personality.

2. Blogging: Creating a blog on a niche topic you are passionate about can demonstrate your knowledge and writing ability while allowing you to express your unique perspective.

3. Volunteer Initiatives: Leading or participating in volunteer projects related to causes you care about can reflect your dedication, leadership, and empathy, which are attractive to potential employers.

4. Personal Branding Campaign: Developing a personal branding campaign that includes social media content, videos, and public speaking engagements can demonstrate your creativity, communication skills, and professionalism.

5. Creative Portfolio Projects: Building a portfolio showcasing your artistic or design work, whether it's photography, graphic design, or other creative endeavours, can serve as a compelling representation of your skills and style.

To conclude, imagination can be compelling only if you put it into action that can not just give out to the community or benefit yourself but keep your creativity going while finding long-term term. So do not let your negativity define your goals and imagination. Never give up; turn your imagination into power.
